Litmus paper for dipping to measure the acidity-basicity of solutions
Packed in a good plastic box, 100 sheets/set, PL (Precision Laboratories) brand, made in the U.S.A.
0.6 cm wide paper strip, 4.7 cm long.
Easy to use, using the principle of changing the color of the paper from red to silver or blue to red to indicate the acidity-basicity of the solution
100 sheets/set of red litmus paper, used to measure basic or alkaline solutions. If the paper changes from red to blue, it indicates that the substance is a base.
100 sheets/set of blue litmus paper, used to measure acidic solutions. If the paper changes from blue to red This indicates that the substance is acidic.
Suitable for use in teaching science, basic acid-base measurement, or as a learning medium for acid-base experiments to measure food or fruit juice at home.
How to use
Dip the litmus paper into the solution to be measured for about 1-2 seconds and watch the color of the paper change.
Reading the results
Red litmus paper turns blue when dipped into the solution, indicating that the substance is basic, pH >7.
Blue litmus paper turns red when dipped into the solution, indicating that the substance is acidic, pH <7.
If the paper does not change color, the solution is neutral, pH = 7.
